Augh. James went and bit Icarus. I'm so mad at him right now! I mean, I can understand if you haven't fed in six days, but did he have to torment the poor guy? Stupid vampires. Seriously.
Okay, so this is what, apparently, happened. Icarus got bored and went into the basement, where I've told him a gazillion times not to go ( "There are vampires down there. And they will bite." ). He thought it would make his boring life a little bit more exciting. So, when he gets down there, James is starving. And sitting by the door.
James manages to hold himself from attacking the 'poor little bird-human-creature' (his exact words, not mine) for about three minutes. In those three minutes, he demands to see Icarus's wings - which he does not have anymore. Long story short, they were docked for disobedience by the Official Flock before I knew him. When Icarus refuses to show them off, James practically tears his shirt off.
Stupid jerk.
Anyway. Icarus is terrified already because he's down there when I've told him not to, and this vampire is trying to make him strip. Not to mention he's completely blind in the absolute darkness (as most people are). He fights. And this gets James' bloodlust up, and he bites the poor kid. Not once, folks. No, no. Not even twice.
Three times. Seriously. What was he thinking?
Icarus is in good health, mostly. He's recovering, and I think he's learned his lesson. Maybe now he'll listen to me a little more. But really. It wasn't his fault James is an idiot sometimes and forgets to feed himself. And I'm not in charge of reminding him. >=(
