Chapter 1

Wake up.

My body responded to the the voice.

Come to me.

I leave my house towards the darkness of the front lawn.

OPEN YOUR EYES.

I woke up. It was the same dream I've had all week. A voice would call out to me and then suddenly woke me up. My head throbbed. I mindlessly searched for the bottle of Excedrin on my nightstand. I popped the pill in my mouth and rolled out of bed. I grabbed my robe and walked downstairs. Kiley was already awake. She was eating toast, and sipping on some coffee. She looked up, and waved. She brushed her behind ear, revealing her million dollar face. I always thought she could go without make up, but she always had some on.


She pushed the toast towards me. I nibbled on it, and looked at the wall clock. She smiled, and the door bell rang. She skipped to door and nearly broke the hinges on it when she opened it. Her boyfriend, Hunter, walk through the door. I rolled my eyes while they frenched.

"Hey, Dianna." Hunter called over to me.

I tilted my head up in response. Kiley grabbed her purse.

"We'll be back in awhile ,"

I nodded and watched her walk out the door. I jumped up and ran for to my room. I grabbed my cell phone and quickly dailed Vincent's number. It rang once and he answered.

"Dianna? Are they gone?"

"Yeah, they just left,"

"Good, wait outside"

"Ok,bye."

The phone clicked on his end. A wide smile spread across my face.I rummaged through my closet.I found a black tank top and pair of faded skinny jeans. I slipped on my favorite pair of black Converse and ran for the door.
