Ghost

You're in a world where I could never enter,
Not even in the tiniest bit.
You seem so far away, and yet,
It's almost teasing to know how close you are.

I remember the times when you were not part of that world.
There was no end to our happiness.
Now that you're in that world, you've changed.

Changed for the better, or changed for the worst,
I cannot comprehend.
But to me, it seems that you bear no resemblance
To the person I once knew.

Why has this world converted you into someone I can't recognize?
It's like you're no longer tangible to me.
Only a ghost.

You're lost upon me and I can no longer embrace you.
Where have you gone?
Why has this world taken you away from me?
Or is it possible that you've always wanted to disappear from my world?
