I'll Make The Impossible A Possibility.
SNOW DAY! I would do anything to be able to spend this day with John. <3 It's seriously the best feeling in the world when you see your school's name & the word "Closed" on the television screen. I'm going to miss that feeling after high school. Like, it's so good, I don't even want to go back to bed. I just want to stay awake so that I can celebrate.
In one of Revoke The Silence's new songs (it's still untitled, I can't think of a title that's worthy...), the first line in the second verse is, "The downtown city lights can't compare to our ties." I wrote this line because I've spent a lot of my life downtown. Checking boys out at the skatepark, becoming interested in music at coffee shops, drinking hot chocolate and cappachinos, buying candy from the world's best candy store, sitting on benches thinking about the person I hope to be, and just wondering the heated sidewalks aimlessly. I love downtown. It reminds me of the city. There's lights, places to go, and people to meet. But nothing downtown could compare to the feeling I get when I connect with John. Nothing. Not the lights. Not the buildings. Not the tulips. I love that man. So much.
I'll probably be working on an essay today since I have the extra time. I'll probably do some reading too. I have to read Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult for my AP Lang. & Comp. class. It's actually a really good book so far...I recommend you read it. It can be confusing and sad at times, but overall I'm enjoying it.
