I miss my old thingy, but this one might work, which is more than the old one could.
Blue's Reviews: Needless
It's been a while, hasn't it? It most definitely has been a while, because it's been so long that I have missed my opportunity to tell you all what my first impression of Needless was. Anyway, let see if I can still do this.

The Good:
Comedy! - For those of you who watched Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann we are looking at the same level of comedy here. Any time the tension gets so high that you just look at it and go, "Oh god, oh god, oh god." you can expect a joke. The heroes and villains throw names back and forth at each other. It's fun. You'll like it.
Action! - There are good guys, there are bad guys. They both attempt to kick each other's asses. It's fun. You'll like it.
Fanservice! - Oh god, so much fanservice...
The Story - The story is simple enough that they can tell you why everything is the way it is in about a minute.
The Characters - I love this set of characters. They are all quirky as hell and fun and I just like them. Even the most normal character would be strange by my standards
The Openings - I like intense crazy openings. They are fun.
The First Ending - Oh god...so much fanservice...
The Art Style - This is just a really nice style. I'd show you pictures, but I'm lazy. Anyway, it's similar to TTGL but feels a bit harder, and there was an episode where they totally changed the style, and I didn't mind it.

The Bad:
The Openings - Remember how I told you they could tell you why everything is the way it is in about a minute. Get ready for it because they do it in every episode except for one so far.
Yamada - I don't know if Yamada is his actual name, or if he's Cruz. It doesn't matter. He's a whiny b***h with a sister complex and he's the only character in the show I want to choke the s**t out of. He doesn't have any powers, but he's one of those guys who sits and figured out why the opponent's power works and how the opponent's power works. Sometimes I like it when the story teller is holding my hand and helping me figure out just what is going on and how it is going on, but apparently I have watched too much of this sort of thing because I always seem to be about 2 episodes ahead of him any time there is a mystery.

Anyway, this show is over the top, very similar to Sengoku Basara. If you like things that are crazy over the top and involve breaking tension with a will placed joke, then you'll like this one.

I suggest it to almost everyone.
