Tragic
Looking at the bathroom mirror,
She stared at her reflection,
Feeling so cold and numb;
Knowing that he wasn’t here.
She picked up the razor
And stared in horror;
As her heart began to soar
And the voices in her head got louder!
Nothing, she thought, could be more painful
Than the pain she felt in her heart.
The ice cold fingers of realization gripped her heart,
As she realized what she had to do…
Picture in hand, She slit her wrists;
Knowing nothing as painful as this!
The pain subdued and everything went numb,
And the voices began to quiet as the lights went out
And the world went dark….
