Enchanted
Enclosed within his grasp
His dark wings folded around me
I know I must flee,
But my body won’t let me.
Everything about him
Call me, even his name,
His touch, his voice,
All of it, it lures me .
Just one kiss,
Of his sweet, soft lips,
Will hold me to the spot
Then my legs will fail and I will drop.
‘Beauty in the eye
Of the beholder’ is the cry!
He is not beautiful to me;
He is as perfect as can be.
Neither life nor death
Can pull me from him,
Because with him…
I am enchanted.
