Making love to my ego, because all the time, I'm just fine
The saccharine bliss of words almost makes up for the under lying poison they deliver to us all eventually. We all feel the comfort, and we'll all die from the poison. But at least we'll die with smiles on our faces and sweetnes on our lips.
There is something beautiful about the void.
Look into a pool of water, the kind where you cannot see the bottom. A well, or a lake. Notice the inkiness, the all consuming black that sits waiting. The depths that threaten to swallow you up, the void, the abyss, it's so calm. The tranquility never ceases to amuse me, staring at something that no matter how it is changed almost nothing will ever change it permanently. A void like the night, a starless, moonless, pitchblack, like you would see in a cave, or a deep chasm or pit. Standing at the edge you watch and stare, you throw in a rock or to, in the pool of water you watch the ripples then watch the rock vanish, in the chasm you watch it fall listening for a sound. Sometimes whne you hear nothing at all it makes you shiver, it's not from fear it's from excitement. Somewhere down thee there has to be a bottom, or does there? The void the unknown sitting before anyone dares to be explored, and embraced. Sometimes, you want to just raise your foot, and take that step forward over the edge amusing the idea in your mind that you may never stop falling.

Ah yes...the beauty of the void. I've felt it. I thank you for your comment by the way. At least some people still see the clear plastic fork. I liked this entry as well. Keep up the good work.

Words can't describe the void and yet somehow you've managed it.

I agree completely... and it's beautiful.

And here I was thinking I was the only one looking into the black pool of water, awaiting for some unseen force to drag me down into the depths of darkness. Why? I have no idea. But I like it... it's defiantly exiting, in a way... I find it lustful and addictive.

Wonderful as always.
