The Rainbow
After a rainy day
There is always a way
For something spectacular to show
The sun begins to appear
The sky becomes blue and clear
There is nothing to fear
We feel the light kiss our face
All signs of sadness leaves no trace
Hope and happiness takes its rightful place
We hear laughter and see peaceful smiles
I see the beauty of everything for many miles
The flowers and butterflies are full of life and color
It's nice to see them all together
But this scene is missing one more thing
We hear the voices of angels sing
And the clear blue brook's current passes by
Then that one piece appears in the sky
I watch the beautiful display as it begins to show
I look at the rainbow
And let my emotions flow.
