Left Behind
I follow you, but you ignore me
I struggle to keep up with you very frantically
I scream out for you to please slow down
But you never stopped to turn around
I try to run faster, but it's just not enough
I never knew following you would be so tough
I continue to run as fast as I can
I cried out your name as I ran
As I was running, you were walking quicker
I want to follow you, but I felt sicker
While I ran, I begin to cry and fall
Don't you care for me at all
It gets harder at each step, we grow more apart
You leaving me behind just broke my heart.
