Pleading for you to stay
Only thinking of myself
I'm looking in your eyes
And I see pain
To look at my reflection
Played across your teary eyes
And not care what you're feeling
I realize that's what you do
I blink it away
Sit up from my dream
More of a nightmare
More like the truth
A tear escapes my eye
Another one tags along
I cry for a moment
I cried the whole night
You call me
You're sorry
You apologize
You lie
This goes on for days
That stretch into weeks
And soon I hate you
Or do I hate myself
