That's exactly what you want me to do
Quit, give up, say I'm through
You're hoping for the ultimate sacrifice
Waiting for me to take my life
You hug me now and say be brave
Then you watch me dig my grave
You brush the dirt from my hair
Then step back and leave me there
Standing in this empty pit
I'm tired, had enough of it
I struggle to come up for air
You just stand, laugh, and stare
I finally see what you've done
You think it's over that you've won
I take my treasured metal blade
And cut right through this masquerade
You fall back in horror and pain
Looking at your on sliced vein
I tilt my head and catch the blood
It's dirty, tainted, tastes like mud
You slowly die, bleed it out
You scream for mercy, beg, and shout
I would help but I stand in this hole
In this grave, body and soul
You take your last haggard breath
Then lie still as you meet death
Isn't this ironic, my fate your own
You would never had done it, had you known
