Okay so alot of people may or may not know my extreme displeasure in the Twilight series and people often ask me why I hate it so much? Well Before I hated it I decided to check it out from the school Library. IT was Christmas vacation and I was bored out of my mind. When I finished the book I thought nothing of it. Then I realized slowly how much of a peice of s**t this book is. So I compiled a short list of reasons why I hate Twilight. Do you have to agree? No. Can you comment? Yes.
1. The whole Sparkle thing. Seriously... how is Sparkly Vampires even remotely an interesting idea?
2. Failed logic. The Cullen family are supposed to be Vegetarian vamires (I refuse to call them vampires) and yet they drink Animal blood... so much for the Vegetarianism.
3. Stephanie Meyer is a self centered b***h. Seriously, listen to one of the interviews when the guy asks her if she thinks about the fans. She says she only thinks for herself when she writes. In order to be a good novel writer your readers come first. PERIOD.
4. Failed Logic 2. This has to do with Bella moving to Forks and everyone loves her. This will never happen in real life. The only reason people will give you THAT much attention is when you have a criminal record, insanely rich or you have terminal cancer (note: I am not making fun of people who are actually terminally ill... but you get my pont).
5. No research. Once again in an interview iwth Stephanie Meyers she said she did not do any research on Vampire Lore before writing Twilight. Once again if your writing a novel about vampires or werewolves or Cthulhu... you need to know a thing or two about them and not just the 'They Suck Blood'
6. Unrealistic fantasies that will never happen. Now this doesnt happen to everyone but it happened to all the goth chicks at my school (who are the only hot girls at my school... go figure). They always want that special guy like Jasper or Edward. And they will go out of their way to get that type of guy. This will never happen. Now as I said this doesnt happen to everyone who loves Twilight but I've seen it happen.

As for the vegeterian thing, they use that as a term. Vegetarians don't eat meat right? Well the Cullens used that term to describe their diet. If you remember correctly in the book, Edward mentioned the fact they drank animal blood and he compared it to a human living off of tofu. It keeps you strong, but you're never completely satisfied. That's why they call themselves vegetarians.
As for Stephanie thinking for herself, I can see where she's coming from. Because when I write, I'm not worried about "OMG what if these people don't like my ideas?" No, I write what comes to mind. To be a good writer you can't be worrying about what others think. Let your own mind flow, not everyone else's. Don't write for others, write for yourself. That's what she did. She said this is how MY mind works.
As for everyone loving Bella, well, it's not entirely true what you said. If you remember in the book, not everyone liked her. And those that did liked her because she was quite and reserved. Plus she was new and they were trying to make her feel welcome.
Well those are just my opinions. Like I said feel free to read my review on Twilight.
