I can't win. I really can't.
My roommate is baby sitting her friend's baby tonight. No big deal, right?
She's b1tching at me about EVERYTHING. We were getting along great too. Everything was fine until I took a bite out of dinner. Apparetnly she swears I scraped my fork on my teeth (a bad habit of my other roommates in her opinion (it doesn't bug me)). Thing is that my fork barly entered my mouth. It is slightly possible that I did this "disguting" deed, but honestly, had I done so, it isn't like I did it thinking "Hey, she hates it when the other roommate does this, so I'm going to piss her off!". Aparently it makes her teeth hurt when anyone does this. I think she's just being a b1tch. I know she wants me gone. She seems to think I'm out to steal her boy friend.
Note: Even if I do like the guy, I'm not about to make a move on a guy who has a girl friend, even though I barely consider the girlfriend a friend of mine anymore. She thinks I'm a slut and I'm sleeping with him as soon as she turns her back because we hang out and play video games together. I swear, the whole world sees a man and a woman together and automatically assumes "Oh, they're dating!".
News Flash: Men and Women can be just friends.
But that's not the only problem tonight. I didn't clean the "dining" (it's the computer room) room to her precise specifications, so instead of telling me what I didn't do right, she does it while complaining about it. The things I left out were left out for a reason, but trying to tell her that was impossible.
Oh, and I straighten up the living room, which wasn't my job today, and I did something wrong in there too. No complaints on my vaccuuming yet...
And when she first came home, I was watching Shrek 2 in Spanish (I think it sounds awesome and I understand it pretty well). She sets the baby down and demands I switch it back to English. I try to finish watching it in Spanish later, and she wants me to do this and that and go get the baby food SHE forgot in the car and I had it turned up too loud when you can't hear half of what they're saying when the volume's at 20 on the surround sound and
OH FOR THE LOVE OF SUZAKU SHUT UP!
But I can't say that. She doesn't even know who Suzaku is let alone would she care. Oh she pretends to care when her anime-loving boy friend is around, but she thinks anime is just cartoons. If she's watching Sex in the City, I can't get her to change the channel (I HATE that show), but if I want to watch Teen Titans or something along those lines, I have to "find something to watch other than cartoons". I can't even play video games when she's home because she can't understand how I can play the same game every day and not get bored.
DUH! If you DON'T play a game often, you'll never finish it! Tried explaining it. She didn't want to hear it.
And latly she's been threatening to break up with her bf/our other roommate for really childish reasons like his mom "butting in" on our "adult lives".
What she doesn't realize is that she needs to grow up. She's 19 and she thinks she's 39 because she's already been married (married at 16 to an older man) and she's worked at the Waffle House and blah blah blah. That doesn't make you grown up.
That makes you a stupid kid that jumped the gun and married someone you didn't love.
