They always told me that I would find my 'one'.
It seems like it took such a long time
And I worked so hard to get what I felt that
I needed.
Sometimes it's not easy to find what you want
And if you try too hard, you end up being broken.
It's happened to me before, and I didn't like it
One bit.
Now, through these hard times of so much unbearable
Change happening
You seem to be the only solid thing in my life.
If I feel horrible, you'll say you're sorry for me
And when something happens, you always know what
To say to make me feel like a million bucks again.
I love you more than I thought I could love
I'll think of you almost all of the time
And every time I do I get butterflies in my stomach
And for the first time in my life, I kind of like them.
Before, I was scared for people to see who I really was
But you make me feel like the worlds most beautiful
Girl, and no longer do I fear being myself
My friends all find love and always love them and
Tell me that they love them so much, but
I'm happy for them, but when I get home I looked
At myself and found that I wasn't capable
Of finding anybody to make me feel just a bit nice
Or maybe a smidge of pretty and a teaspoon of sweet
But that doesn't happen anymore, because
I've never been more sure about the fact that
I've found my special someone
