I almost lost it all in the car on the way home. i ate until i was sick. X_X
After waiting and fasting the blessed day has finally come and nearly passed. I ate so much so fast that im surprised that people werent staring. You see, Thanksgiving dinner for me is usually a baked ham and mac and cheese, or like last year, chinese food. but, my grandparents came down this year from West Virginia, so, to demonstrate how were the good little family....like we are in public, and not the way-ward daughter and grandchild that we actually are, we went out to eat dinner at the Hyat hotel. it was a buffett!!!!
*drooling at the memory*
Oh the turkey....the stuffing....the gravy....the pork loin and roast beef....oh god....
*in ecstasy/gravy covered turkey and stuffing heaven*
Which the turkey had a surprisisng effect on me this year. I began to wonder, what if the pilgrims hadnt had turkey, what if they had wild boar or lamb testicles or something. Would that be the main course at every home instead of turkey?
now theres some food for though.
....oh god. We went to the store to get some shampoo ((i ran out this morning)) and i swear, i nearly hurled i the store. We passed all of the fruits and food and every item of food that i saw, my damn over-active imagination went haywire and i started imagining me taking a bite out of the food, so i nearly hurled because even the mere though of food sent me into my own personal hell.
But, it was good, and ive had my 1st traditional ((in my family's sense)) Thanksgiving in like 5 years.
So, good night and happy Thanksgiving everybody.
im going off to bed.
