Ok, you know that group of lazy bastards that takes popular songs, blends them onto one cd, and spits it at you pretty much every month? They're on 30 now, 30 F%$&ING DISKS worth of music they heard people liked. Why are they still in business?! Are people honestly buying these things? They're the same songs you already know, that's how they get you to buy stupid thing. Being that you're familiar with the songs, wouldn't you already have some means of hearing it as you liked via ipods or 3 p.m. players? Why get it again in the form of something that won't fit in that little box that somehow carries thousands of songs, internet access and nuclear launch capability? (or maybe that's cellphones) Even the name of the f@$%ing thing is unoriginal, "that's what I call music"? Were they just piling these songs together to make this thing when they heard someone say that? Great way to name your company, call it the first thing that comes to your mind, it's like they got a rap artist to run the place.

There's also that "kid's bop" bulls%^t. Wonderful, same songs you're already well aquianted with, now sung by prepubescant children! I've noticed some of the songs in their commercials are ones with swearing or adult themes, so I'm guessing people get them purely to hear the pg'd versions and laugh about it.

BOTTOM LINE: Marketing music is stupid, marketing other people's music is even stupider.
