In other news, this same Op also sent me a pointed warning for calling someone a "sophist" in the same forum. I am beginning to believe SF actually stands for "Sans Fun", which is French for "Without Fun".

when you might drop a mild insult in a post, rather than posting for the sole purpose of bashing someone's character, I don't really consider it flaming,
But people report it when they get the slightest bit miffed... which is hilarious, when you consider how much insulting is done in forums indirectly.
Step into the GCD and you'll see every other thread attacking 'n00bs' and newbies, and as long as one individual isn't named it is unimportant, right?
Right...
I was once reported for editing a post to say "for anyone who can't step down from their high horse and actually read my question I will put it in bold" after recieving a particularly ignorant and pretentious response,
And I got a warning for that.
And... sophist? really?
I'm surprised that anyone stupid enough to report THAT as flaming would be intelligent enough to even know it could be used as an insult...
Especially in the context of them using an illogical argument, you can merely say it is a rebuttle rather than an attack against them.
"My point is 1+2=12"
"Your argument makes no sense"
"REPORTED FOR FLAMING!"
How is that fair?
