The blood runs deep red, it shines
in the light.
The blood tricks slowly down,
seeping out of my heart,
kill me all but quickly.
Thorns embedded into my body,
from my torso down.
Battered and bruised all I feel
is nothing but internal.
The heartbreak burns,
it stings, the thorns from her words
rip every drop of blood from my corpse.
My flesh weakens, my
mind is focused on the pain, on how I
hurt her. Feeling the
result of my actions , her revenge is
killing me. As I did her……….
The petals dance around my dangling
corpse, point zero darkness sets in.
Soon my first action is noticed.
It slides down my face and my eyes are closed.
A tear……….

As I am dead, outside my coffin she stands,
crying. Her face filled
with sorrow.
It begins to rain. She places
that same black rose on my coffin,
as one last tear seeps from my eyes inside
