things that i know will destroy
everything ive worked so hard to preserve.
these voices of mine,
come at the worst possible times.
they toy with my emotions,
and make me want to listen to them.
how is it possible,
that i have been able
to ignore
these voices of mine?
i know what will happen if i give in to these voices of mine,
if i listen to them, and allow myself to take a risk too great.
these voices of mine,
tell me to "love her, it will make her happy",
to "give her what shes asking for",
and to give in to my curiosity.
these voices of mine have found my blind spot,
and they abuse it every day.
these voices of mine,
were almost victorious today.
they took control of my arm,
and extended it close to her shoulder.
this is truely annoying,
how they want me to destroy myself,
how they intend to isolate me through my curiosity,
these damn voices of mine.
