Welcome to the darkside...
The Weekly Rant LXXVIII -feigned superiority
I'm sick of people that claim greatness over others but will pass up every chance to prove it. "I'm better than you, I could have done that faster, everyone sucks but me" all shovelfuls of lie used to feed an ego.

You may notice that when people say these things, they often make no effort whatsoever to validate their words. A common place for this is a school playground, one student does something (jumping 2 feet, climbing to the top of something, throwing a basketball into the hoop, spinning in a circle and not falling down, ect.) and another claims not only can they do the task 9934756 times better, but full superiority to every witness whose attention they can coax to them. Then, when urged by their new audience to do so, they're suddenly inflated with weak excuses like a hot air balloon with a leak. Out of that hot air tends to come bulls@$t along the lines of "make me, I know I can, so I don't need to prove it, no YOU do it" and so on. Sometimes, they seem to lose track of their high horse of vanity and just go into the "fanboy rabid" state, or just randomly make fun of people to direct attention away from them.

In slightly rarer cases, they'll actually attempt the given task, fail, and THEN puff up with sentences that start with "well, it was because..." and end with "...so it wasn't my fault!"

If it isn't perfectly clear to you why such people should be drowned in molten rock, you should probobly be next.

BOTTOM LINE: If you can do better than someone at something, do it or keep your mouth shut, if you can't, but like to say you can anyway, please have your mouth sewn shut and your arms amputated.

That's this week's rant, I'm Varmeip, Goodnight.
