Lightning’s Caller
A sullen silence holds me
As I watch the storms pass by
The calling of the inner way
Has left me to stand by

In winters calling in cold delay
Thunders echoes across the sky
At his will I call forth horrors
That I can no longer stand

Upon my crypt it shall be written
That I was loyal till the end
The songs I’ve sung are but a lie
Of bitter cold and rain

If only they knew the horrid truth
And had their dreams found once more
I wish they no longer sung
Of the one they call Barachiel
