Date: September 20th

It took a couple extra days to make it to the village but at least we managed to get here before doubling the normal travel time between here and Konoha. The village is still just as we left it with the exceptions of some wild animals. We got started right away on removing some of the wreckage before we began rebuilding.

Date: September 22nd

Still clearing the wreckage today so not much to talk about. Crap I don't have time to write some of the crew needs my help getting some of the stuff from the top floor down from the old hospital building. Cya in a bit.

Date: September 25th

I can't believe it. While going through the wreckage I heard a yelping noise just after a large crash coming from another room in the house. I searched the rubble of the next room and caught the scent of an animal. Shunomaru came running from nearby and used our man-beast clone to help me move some of the planks and floorboards out of the way. After removing enough of the planks we could see that it was a young fox stuck under a piece of a broken table under all the planks and other rubble. We quickly removed as much as the wood and rubble as we could off the table then as Shunomaru lifted the table off the fox I pulled him out carefully and quickly moved out of the way as the table slipped out of Shunomaru's hands. We brought him back to the campsite we had established while we rebuilt the village. Shunomaru remained in the man-beast clone form to help me administer some painkillers and medical treatment. As I examined the fox's body for injuries I noticed that his leg had been broken and two ribs were fractured. Shunomaru began wrapping the fox's leg in bandages while I began using my healing jutsu I learned from my sensei before her death. I used some of the medicinal herbs I picked on the way to the village in case some workers were injured on the job to help disinfect and clean the cuts that the fox had obtained in the crash. Once the medical treatment was finished Shunomaru transformed back and kept watch of him after I carefully hid him in a makeshift blanket made from my extra jacket by my bed in my tent.
The fox woke up and saw Shunomaru watching over him. Shunomaru noticed that the fox had awakened and pushed his water bowl towards the fox so he could get a drink to avoid dehydration. I walked in just after the fox took a drink and checked to make sure his wounds hadn't reopened. After wrapping his wounds up again he stared at me as if out of pure confusion on why I had saved him in the first place let alone taking care of him now. Shunomaru, being a canine and obviously an animal period, explained to the fox what had happened when we heard the crash up until he woke up. The fox was still puzzled as to why we cared for him when any others would have just either left him there or after getting him out would have just let him loose instead of treating him and nursing him back to health. Shunomaru convinced him to stay and allow us to treat him until his wounds are completely healed. The day past by fast and night had come and we all were tired from working and myself from the event that had made my passion for animals burst out without hesitation. The day was done and we all needed our rest, especially the fox. If the fox is going to be with us I might as well think of a name for him. I'll think of something before the morning comes.

Tizona, Zirith, Zerostsu and the others didn't notice a thing so for now our little friend was a secret. For now I'm going to sleep. Goodnight and I hope our new friend can get some sleep tonight regardless if I do or not.
