#3- Sleep Earlier!
Misaki walked with me a bit longer, chatting about homework and classes and complaining about all the tests we have had to write.
"Ayumi," Misaki said in a serious voice now, "I saw you fall asleep in class today..." she gave me a look, "What's up?"
I shook my head, speaking in a light toned voice, "I'm just having trouble sleeping at night so I get tired during the day." I said, which was partly true.
She frowned at me.
I frowned back, making a funny face at her.
She burst out laughing which made me begin to laugh as well. "If you fall asleep in class again, I'll have to take the finals for you!" she said.
"Ugh! The finals?! Please do," I moaned.
Soon, I arrived in front of my house. I waved good bye to Misaki who was about to turn a curb.
"Sleep earlier!" she called out, using one hand to cup her mouth as she dissapeared behind the curb, waving her book bag in the air as a gesture of goodbye.
I smiled, walking to the door of my house and unlocking the door. A wave of cool air welcomed me home. The air conditioners were on.
"Ahhhh..." I sighed. I dropped my book bag lightly on the floor and fell onto the ground, lying down on the cool wooden floor. It felt so good to be cool again. My older brother was working late and so was my mother. I had the whole house to myself for a while.
