Life? What is the point of that thing anyway?
I got asked that the other day. So I started spouting of random pieces of philosophical crap that sounded great, but they were things even a monkey could memorize because they were more shallow than a plate.
It's been bothering me for almost 24 hours now. So, being my angsty self, I got out a piece of paper and wrote everything that came to my head. This is what I got:
Life is exhileration.
Life is feeling.
Life is seeing someone you love smile.
Life is closing your eyes and feeling a breeze go through your hair, ruffling your clorhes, and being able to smell fresh cut grass.
Life is the sudden wave of frigid, refreshing splashes you get as you run into the ocean.
Life is laughter.
Life is bliss, if only for a fleeting moment, lost in a smile.
That's why I live.
