I can't believe
The way he says hello and goodbye
The way he smiles at the tiniest things
and makes my stomach flutter

I can't believe
How hard he can make me laugh
How hard he tries to cheer me up
and make my worries disappear

I can't believe
What amazing insight he has
What amazing stories he holds
and tells me when we are together

I can't believe
He would rather spend time with her when
He would be doing everything I love
without me

I can't believe
How blind I am
How blind he is
and how stupid I can be

I can't believe
That I let myself fall in love
That I let myself get hurt
when I should be foot loose and fancy free

I can't believe
Myself for letting past my emotional walls
Myself for showing him my soul
and letting him refuse it

I can't believe...
The way I still smile when he walks by
The way I can still talk to him
but most of all

I can't believe my heart.
