Dear Gaia Journal,

Today I have decided to start making money for my dream avatar. Although I am much older (I think) than a good bit of the Gaian population, I still feel a childish affinity for this site.

Today I started off with 5,400 gold and a pretty plain avatar. I went from that to a "avy loaded" one with (Lidless Armor [Chest,Leggins,Head,Foot] and "Fire Thing mobob" [Legging and Mantle and Vest] and Red Diamond.) I estimate I spent about 800 gold on this. Anyway, after hours of marketing, merchanting, etc. etc. I ended up with:

My sad mistake was "mistaking" the bid price for the buy price. I saw the number" 17 gold" on the side and bought it- it was 456 Gold. -_-
How...unfortunate... sad

First time actually merchanting. Hope my progress gets better.
