Reminder to self: Video adapter almost always fails after messing with its insides. Dx
Anyway, this has something to do with the HP tx1000 (tx1219us) model laptop I have. I'm servicing it myself! razz Yep, it needs a new swivel hinge and a new adapter. It also does need an internal Wi-Fi (WLAN) card, but it's not important. I'll do that another time. This is why my laptop is out of commission and I'm on my seven-year-old Windows XP SP3 desktop server. That is all.
