Let me start by laying down a few ground facts:
I'm a b***h, but a brutally honest b***h.
That being said, I do not have a cult of followers because I am rich, own a high demand breedable, or have amazing art talent. In fact, there are probably a lot of people who rather dislike me. I'm cool with that. Just had to point that out before continuing further. IE I am NOT jealous of those who have a cult of internet people to suck up to them, pull strings for, etc.
That doesn't mean I like them either.
They're selfish people, who often are manipulative, careless of others' feelings, and elitist. Usually, they're cocky, greedy, and benevolant only when it suites them [buying affection, power, adoration, etc.].
Granted, not all people who are rich are like this. Not all amazing artists are either. And not all successful shop owners are as well.
All that poorly and ramblingly said, I can't stand these people squashing others down. Especially my friends.
First of all, if you are a shop owner, NEVER treat your artist like your own printing press. If they want to draw to BE NICE, don't immediately accuse them of trying to suck up just to get a popular breedable. If they want to work at another shop, that is not the cue for you to suddenly announce flatsales, auctions, and that growings will be happening. Just because they get an AMAZING pet trade that you would DIE for at said new shop, sure as hell does NOT give you the right to guilt trip her into giving it to you.
[Thank gods THAT didn't happen.]
And once they don't give in, that does NOT mean one should steal her happiness by going behind a respectable shop owner's back to wheel and deal on an AB.
I wish I were more eloquant right now in my wording, but damn I'm tired and too pissed off to give a damn.
The world does NOT revolve around you. You have no right to make nice people feel like crap. No right to ask them to give you something they earned just because 'you want it more'.
Even if you were a 'god' among peons, gods fall hard and history shows this.
Ugh, this didn't make much sense but I feel better now.
