Tormented and torn apart, what else can I do?
Throw away my heart, so what else is new?
Laugh and smile, cry and frown
Someone I know is holding me down
Open your eyes, and see what I see
See that you're the one that means everything to me.
I need to forget you, but how can I do so?
I guess my answer to that question is 'no'
Why do I love you? We don't even talk
I mean i'm an outcast and you're a #1 jock
I sigh and smile, hiding my pain
Day comes and day goes; it's all the same
Toss and turn, put up a fight
To the silent whisper evident in the night
Dark and sinister, my happiness at loss
It started and finished with an unrealistic cost.
You took my heart the first time I saw you
When you heard I liked you, all you said was "Who?"
No one knows me, I really shouldn't cry
Because I know without you I wouldn't die
You don't die of a broken heart
Only when it is torn apart.
As time goes onm my feelings grow stronger
As days pass by, they only seem longer
I can see you, but you don't see me
This is how its supposed to be
You mustn't know how I feel
Day by day, that is the deal
No one should know anything about me

Without you here my heart is an empty sack
Why do you hurt me? Why do I hurt myself?
What else do I put upon that empty shelf?
