there was a great battle with many animals against a horrible enemy. the animals won, but at the very end, the animals all slowly walked to their own spot on an obviously human lawn, in the center was a magnificent young elephant, who came out last of all. when all were in their places, the elephant trumpeted his horn, and all the animals, save the elephant, fell over dead. there was one human in the battle, and he watched the procession silently, then slowly walks away with the elephant. overlying all of this was the knowledge that when the animals' bodies were discovered, the people would just throw them away. their bodies would not have any burial or respect, just disgust. it was depressing.
