I know this is my second post today, but I felt like writing, so write I shall. It's going to be from Callista's (she's the main character from the novel I'm writing) point of view, since I find her character intriguing. Just to be clear, this isn't going to be part of the novel. It's sort of an add-on. Enjoy or... don't. Whatever. And like I said, I just felt like writing, so it probably won't be that good. It's not planned or revised or anything.
It's not that trust is the foundation for love. Love is the foundation for trust. Neither one can exist without the other. You wouldn't trust someone that you despise, just as you wouldn't despise someone whom you trust absolutely. Love and trust are forever interwoven, a single thread in the handkerchief of life. What most people don't realize is that heartbreak is an actual disease. It hurts physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. For if you have no one to live for, you've got got no one to die for either, and so it doesn't really matter where you go when you die. Even burning for the rest of eternity would be less painful than this. All the same, it isn't exactly rational to feel sorry for yourself. Life goes on, and it is inevitable that you shall as well. If it was meant to be, 'twould be. The Fates have plans for us all, and the pain is just part of the story. The pain is part of everyone's story. True love never ends and true loves return the favor. Don't waste your time on what wasn't. Live in the present, for every day is a gift, and every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiniess you'll never get back [[I know, that last bit was a little cliche, but I can't help it]]. But sometimes, even those whom you trust seem to fail you. Key word being seem. It is useless to assume; thus you must listen to the whole story before making a decision. And if you listen to your heart, that decision will be the right one. Love finds a way. Love always finds a way.
Yeah, so that's about it for now. Since the book isn't out yet, and I'm not even done with it, I can't disclose any information on it. That would just ruin the whole thing. Hope you liked it, and please know that the entire book is not this preachy or melodramatic.
