I wish I could have hung out with one of my friends today but it just doesn't work that way. Instead, I finished buying my sister's birthday present(s). I also bought my friend Susanne's birthday present. I feel somewhat guilty that I used a gift certificate I got for graduation to do this...but that was $35 that didn't come out of my checking account--money I'm trying to spend on college items first.
Once I have a mini-fridge, a futon, and whatever other items I need, then I can spend that money on other things.
I did spend $55 the other day on AWA. The thing is, I know I'm going so I was going to pay sooner or later. And for $20 I can wear my prom dress again. So I justified spending that money.
Really, I've always known that money goes fast, but when you're trying to save money it just seems that much faster.
