I managed another thousand words or so today.

I'm very impressed with myself right about now.

I am not impressed with my father's money-management skills.

It is not okay to spend $200 on movies and dining out in the span of 3 days when you're suppose to be on a budget. It is especially not okay to do this when you're about to drive five states away to visit relatives. What kind of example is that?

I feel bad when I spend $50 in 3 days--even if it's on relatively necesarry objects. Admittedly my father makes a lot more money than I do but he also has a lot of bills that I just don't--including my bills.

It just seems frivolous. I would have been just as happy had we only gone to see Hancock and maybe made up some sandwiches and gone to the lake for the day.
