Hello! How's everyone's summer going?
Good? Bad? Well either way, I'm glad that you people are here!
I've been wanting to put this up ever since July 4th when I got back from
the Anime Expo 2008 but I never had the chance...boo...
But now I do! So here we go!
So, Ouran High School Host Club has been popular in Japan ever since it
came out and became equally or more popular when the people of the world
heard about it.
English Dubbing companies had been grabbing at this series for a while now
since it is so dang popular and loveable!!
Anyway it was finally licensed last year to Funimation and audiences have been
dying to hear of the roles!
I of course had guessed on only three of the roles and surprisingly was correct about all three of them!
(Thank you for the awsome gift of being psychic and being able to recognize and choose ideal Japanese/English voice actors!)
As most people who followed this road of Funimation dubbing Ouran,
many were aware of voice actor Vic Mignogna,
(dubbed heart Fai heart for Tsubasa's dub! Ed for Full Metal Alchemist, Dark for DNAngel, and many other notable roles), had been a fan of this anime ever since someone introduced him to OHSHC and has been in love with Tamaki ever since he first...met him...
Now Vic has been dying to play Tamaki for ages now and his dream came true as announced at AX 2008!
KUDOS TO YOU VIC! Love ya' since you are the most awesome english voice actor!

So without further ado, the english voice actors:
Haruhi Fujioka: Caitlin Glass (Also is the ADR director for OHSHC!)
She is known also for playing Winry in FMA and Saya from Black Cat!
Mitsuki Haninozuka (Honey-senpai): Luci Christian (Kawaii!!!)
She was one of my 3 guesses! Some well known roles include Risa Harada from DNAngel and Duck in Princess Tutu!
Takashi Morinozuka: Travis Willingham
Popular voice of Roy Mustang from FMA
Kyouya Ootori: Michael J. Tatum
He is known to play Shizuka Doumeki from xxxHolic and Seishiro from Tsubasa (woo! Both from two of my top favorite series!)
Hikaru Hitachiin: Todd Haberkorn
Haberkorn is the voice of Kimihiro Watanuki from xxxHolic (YEAH!!) and Ren from Hell Girl
Kaoru Hitachiin: Greg Ayres
This was one of my expected roles so yay! Greg has dubbed several of my favorite animes including, Satoshi Hiwatari from DNAngel and Jun Kitagawa from Kanon 2006
Tamaki Suou: Vic Migongna (HOORAY!~)
My last 3rd assumtion! Some notable roles were named above but others include Yukito from Air and Takenaga from The Wallflower!
Yes I love all of the Host members!
As for the side characters like Renge, there has yet to be an announcement but if I get word I'll put her on here...
Some other minor characters have been posted but since they are minor roles
I don't think I'll post them but...Aww, what the heck...
Umehito Nekozawa: Patrick Seitz
He has played Luke Valentine from Hellsing and Koshiro Saeki from Koi Kaze
Ryouiji Fukioka: Mike McFarland (Also is the Line Producer for the dub of OHSHC)
Known as Ritsu Sohma from Fruits Basket!
Ritsu Kasanoda: Christopher Sabat
He plays Kurogane in Tsubasa blaugh (Yay! Kuro-puu!) blaugh Surprisingly, I thought it would have been Christopher Sabat since he has that kind of voice...but he has also played Zoro from One Piece and Ayame from Fruits Basket.

But Sakura Kiss (the opening for Ouran) is also being dubbed as well as the ending...
I wasn't so impressed with the dubbed version of the Opening but hey,
love the series and cast anyways!!
So look forward to the release of Ouran's English Dub.
The first release will be on October 28th 2008.
The first DVD will include HALF of the series so that's why it's so late! Well I don't mind the wait since the series is worth it!
