Shoot me down, cut my heart out, nothing you do can take the pain away. Hold me tight, love me right, I'm just going to get thrown away. Save me before it makes my head explode. I don't need another man, I have one of those, but I need a friend who can make me laugh at such things that should be hushed. Who can make the pain go away even if for a short time.
