When's the last time you sat down and listened? People keep telling you what to do and you block them out. Why? I know I don't listen to everything everyone says but that's because I refuse to come away from my safe haven. What's your reason? Did you know that there are people dying everyday because we can't seem to find the cure for their disease when, this disease had never been a problem in the past? Did you know that a little kid, as cute as can be, gets beaten by their parents almost every night? I know that it's a horrible thing to have on your conscience. But, I don't think people should ignore that. I don't think people should walk away. About a month ago, I waited for an hour with a lost dog on the street on my way home from school. It was getting cold and dark by time the owner showed up, but when she did, the relieved look on her face made me feel damned good. Don't waste that feeling. If you see something wrong, don't just walk away. Don't ignore it. Even if there is nothing that you can do. Just don't walk away or ignore it. That's possibly the worst thing you could do. So sit down, listen to the people around you, even if you don't like what they are saying.
