The Lost Demon
Chapter 13
I didn't hear Prise answer me, so I kicked open the door and began running up the steps to Prise's room.
"Prise!" I yelled and opened his bedroom door as fast as I could.
I saw two figures standing over Prise.
It was Damu and some other demon girl! She was casting some sort of spell.
"No!" I ran to Prise, fell and hugged him tightly, as the ball of light hit both of us.
"What are you doing?!" I heard Damu growl.
I squeezed my eyes shut as I clung onto Prise. He was breatheing, so he was still alive. There was a sudden silence around us.
"Dawn?" He whispered. A blast of heat hit my face.
I slowly opened my eyes and gasped. We were surrounded by fire, the air shrouded in black smoke and black creepy creatures were going in and out of the flames.
"Oh my....." I breathed.
Prise looked around, eyes wide in horror, then he looked quickly up at me.
"Dawn! I'm so sorry I didn't believe you! I should've! I don't know what got into me! Please forgive me!" Prise said on the verge of crying.
All the anger I had in my heart vanished as his forgivness reached my ears and touched my heart.
"Of course I forgive you Prise..... But right now I think we should find a way to get out of here." I said, trying to stand up.
Prise began to cough, along side me.
"Intruder!" Someone yelled.
Prise and I spun around and saw three people running at us with spears.
"Not three people..." I relized. "Three demons!"
"Prise..... We're in Hell!" I whispered in fear.
Prise's eyes grew huge and he grabbed my hand.
"Stay with me Dawn, I can walk well enough now...." He whispered.
The first demon didn't stop like the other two, instead he ran over and knocked us both to the ground.
"Dawn! You okay?!" Prise asked as he caught his breath.
I had no time to reply, for what I saw next took my breath away in fear.
A giant shadow appeared as all the demons fled to the corners.
"Who are you and what is your purpose here intruders?" A deep booming voice asked.
Prise grabbed me and held me tightly in a hug.
"Answer me!" It screamed. By the blaze of the fire I saw what it looked like.
It looked like a normal man, dressed all in purple, black, and red with pitch black eyes and silver pupils.... he was frightning.
"Lord Sin!" Another demon ran up.
It was Damu! My heart pounded as I heard Prise growl deep in his throat.
The girl demon was right behind him.
"Damu? Did you bring them here?!" Sin asked.
"No... I did Lord." The girl demon bowed her respects.
"Kirai?! I am dissapointed in you! Bringing mortals into the other realm?! This is charged with banishment Kirai!" Sin snapped.
"Lord Sin, please let us explain! Come! I will explain everything to you, but privetly." Kirai said standing up and offering him her hand.
Sin glared at us and took Kirai's hand.
As they left, so did all the other demons, except one. Damu stood there, scowling down at us, mainly me.
"You told me you cared about me Damu!" I snapped.
His eyes were as cold as ice as he answered.
"That's the problum Dawn. I do."
Then Prise and I began coughing again.
"Can't breathe can you? Of course, Hell isn't made for mortals." Damu said.
"Then why'd you take us here?!" I snapped between my coughs.
"Kirai and I never intended to bring you, only Prise." Damu sneered.
"What?!" Prise gasped.
"Damu." Sin called.
Damu bowed and answerd.
"Yes my lord?"
"Take Prise to the dungeon." Sin said.
"No!" Kirai snapped. Sin and Damu looked at her. "I will. Damu will want to see this."
Sin was silent.
"Of course, you are right Kirai, besides, you can change him better." Sin said after thinking. Kirai grabbed Prise and yanked him away from me.
"Let him go! Give him back you monster!" I screamed and began coughing again.
"What's the matter Dawn?" I looked up at Damu. "You don't like demons anylonger?" he sneered.
"You are sheer evil Damu!" I growled.
"Damu, take her to the dungeon." Sin ordered.
Damu grabbed me by the throat and tied me up.
He threw me in a cage surrounded by lava and fire.
"Damu... Please.... don't do this... You saved my life before! Please don't do this!" I pleaded. He gave me a cold look.
"Sorry." He said sarcastically, but in a fraction of his eyes, I saw a look of sadness.
"Damu!" A male voice came in.
"Asikari? What is it?" Damu asked.
"Kirai needs help! Prise isn't taking it in!" Asikari said.
"What are you doing to Prise you monsers?!" I snapped.
"Go, I'll watch the mortal." Asikari said. Damu left.
"You all deserve to die!" I sneered. "What are you doing to him?!"
"In a few moments, you're lover boy will belong to us." Asikari laughed.
