The Lost Demon
Chpater 12
I left Prise's as quickly as I could.
"I can't believe he doesn't believe me! Him of all people!" I thought, tears still falling. It was a nice day, warm, sunny, not one cloud in the sky, and children running around playing in puddles from last night's rainshower.
But I was still upset. Non of that made me happier. My new friend was now dead, and my best friend has doubt in me.
I sighed deeply and sat on a bench.
The day became hotter as I sat there, and I guess I must have dozed off.....
----Dreaming----
I dreampt while I was napping.
I dreampt that I was back home. With my mother and father.
I'm running to my parents, but they seem to get further away the more steps I take, then fire blazing all around them as they tell me to run.
The fire surrounds me before I could get away, and I see Damu walk out of the flames with Prise by his side.
"I believe you now Dawn. I'm sorry, but now it's your turn." Prise sneered.
Damu laughed and held a dagger up.
"Prise! Damu! What are you doing?!" I gasped.
"What I should have done when I first met you!" Damu sneered and ran at me. I screamed and just as Damu went to stab me, I awoke.

My heart was pounding. Tear were rolling down my cheeks.
"Mom.....dad...." I thought. "I havn't dreampt of them in so long.... but what a nightmare..."
I sat up, relizing it was sudown and I was still in the park.
My phone began to chime, it was a text from Prise.
I scowled, and looked at it.
"Im sory Dawn! I nevr ment 2 mak U cry... plez com bak... I wana talk"
I sighed deeply. I really did want to go back there, I loved him, and I hated being angry with him. I decided to call him first.
"Hello?! Dawn?!" he answered after the first ring.
"Prise listen, do you really not believe me about Damu?"
"Dawn! I don't know, but please, just come over here!"
"I'm telling the truth Prise! Believe me and I will!"
Suddenly I heard a sound on the line. Shattering glass it sounded like.
"Prise? You alright?" I asked.
"Dawn! Get over here!" Prise was yelling now, then I heard a loud sound and the phone disconected.
I stood there, phone to my ear in shock for a moment, then instantly started running towards Prise's house.

"Who are you?! What do you want from me?!" Prise screamed.
Damu looked over at him from the shadows of his room.
"You know who I am Prise." Damu whispered.
"Well then come out and face me you coward!" Prise snapped.
"Brave for a mortal aren't you? Or are you just plain stupid?" Damu sneered and walked out of the shadow. Prise's eyes grew wide.
"Damian?!" He gasped.
"The name's Damu." He smirked with a scowl.
"Oh my God, Dawn was right...." He whispered.
"You killed Presilla! Didn't you?! You f**king demon!" Prise snapped.
"I thought you didn't believe in demons!" Damu laughed sarcastically and pinned Prise to the wall.
"I changed my mind!" Prise rasped as Damu clutched Prise's throat.
"What now? You gonna kill me just like you did Presa?" Prise whispered.
"No, I'm doing something far worse then that!" Damu sneered and smiled at the sudden fear in Prise's eyes.

"Please be alright Prise! I'm almost there!" I thought running as fast as I could, and finnaly I came to Prise's steps.
"Prise!" I yelled.
