I think of a time when you held me.

I look back at a time
When we kissed, the world spun
When we touched, my skin burned
when you held your arms around me
and i felt safe.

Then one day it was over
we didn't speak

we didn't cry

we didn't even say good-bye

Now i must watch from afar
Thinking of what used to be ours

and thinking of how much
