The Lost Demon
Chapter 8
I continued staring out my window, expecting to see Damu fly right back to me, but he never came.
"He was serious.... I guess I don't have a stalker anymore." I thought.
Then I gasped.
"Prise is still handicapped, Damu is gone, I'm hurt and Jaden is gonna be in school!" I relized. My heart pounded thinking of him.
"How can I go to school tomarrow? He's gonna kill me...." I thought.
"Dawn?" A knock came at the door. Duke walked in.
"You alright? You're never this quiet." He asked.
"Yes, I'm fine Duke." I said sitting on the bed giving him a smile.
Duke frowned and sighed.
"What do you want for dinner? I'll order something tonight." He asked.
"Whatever you get Duke, I'm not picky." I laughed, he gave me a small smile and shut my door.
My fake smile slowly faded. I sighed and lied down on the bed.
"Tomarrow is gonna be a living Hell." I whispered and dozed off into sleep.

"I hate doing this.... But I have to. I can't be around her anymore, I'm becoming too attached. She's nothing to me but a human, nothing!" Damu thought as he flew. The night sky was clear, you could see every star in the sky.
Damu stopped flying to watch the sky.
"Wow....these are stars?" He whispered.
He looked behind him, he flew a long way. He was in the country again.
He sighed deeply and lied down on a grassy hill.
"This is so stupid, why don't I just go on a rampage and kill all the people I see, then I can go back." Damu whispered.
He closed his eyes, but not for long, He was still thinking of Dawn.
"D*mn it!" He screamed sitting up.
"Stop thinking about her! She's gonna get you killed!" He screamed at his mind.
He felt like he was going insane.
After a long silence, Damu heard footsteps walking up to him.
"Damu?" A voice whispered.
Damu looked up. There was someone in front of him, a girl.
With long dark purple hair, and orangish eyes. With greyish-purple demonic wings.
Damu was speechless.
"Kirai?!" He whispered.
"Sin sent me to make sure you don't mess up again." She whispered.
Damu stood up.
"I can do it on my own!" Damu said.
"Really? Sin told me you had feelngs for a mortal. Kinda low on the foodchain." Kirai
snickered.
Damu sighed.
"Fine. If you can help me forget about Dawn and bring me back to Hell, then so be it. But I'm warning you Kirai, do not do anything that will give us away!"
"Oh don't worry about me Damu baby, I have my powers still, If i must I'll use them. I heard you got yours taken away! Shame!" Kirai laughed.
Damu frowned.
"Kirai will be able to help, just go with it." He thought.
"Let's go find somewhere to rest, tomarrow, I'll help you fix yourself." Kirai smiled.
