The Lost Demon
Chapter 9
I slowly walked into the school building with Presa beside me.
I was very caustious, but maybe now that I had Prisa with me Jaden would'nt try anything.
"Dawn?" A voice asked. I turned to see Prise STANDING behind me, he was in crutches, but he was standing!
"You're healing so quickly Prise!" I hugged him, making sure not to hurt him or my arm. Presa smiled.
"You made a new friend?" Prise asked looking at her.
"I'm Presilla, or Presa for short." She smiled.
Prise smiled.
"Thanks for taking care of Dawn while I was away." He laughed.
Presa smiled.
Then I saw Jaden round the corner, then stop to look at me.
My heart jumped for a moment as our eyes connected.
Prise turned and saw him as well. As soon as Prise started glareing at Jaden, he walked away.
"Forget about Jaden, Dawn. He's just a punk." Prise told me.
"I know...." I whispered.
"Let's get to class before the principle yells at us for being late." Presa stated as she saw him round the corner.

"Kirai, What did you just say?!" Damu snapped.
"Nothing Damu dear, just that I have a plan to make you have a chance of going home again." She laughed.
Damu was silent. He looked at Kirai's orangish eyes and saw a flicker of mischief.
"What is is?"
"Look!" Kirai formed a puddle using her powers and when Damu looked into the water he was Dawn!
His heart jumped and he smirked, but then growled deeply and turned away.
"If you think I'm hurting her, I can't..... She actually likes demons." Damu said.
"Look Damu." Kirai said sternly.
He looked back in and saw Dawn wasn't alone. She was with Prise.
"Big deal, you aren't telling me I have to kill Prise are you?" Damu asked.
"Keep looking." Kirai was getting annoyed.
Damu looked back in and relized, Dawn made a new friend!
A girl! With short reddish-orange hair and orange-gold eyes.
"That's my plan." Kirai said.
Damu looked at her.
"Dawn is having trouble making friends, now that she has made one, she will be prone to make more. We must dispose of that girl." Kirai said.
Damu was silent.
"You don't even know her Damu, you'll have no problum killing her." Kirai walked away.
"Wait! I have to kill her?!" Damu gasped.
"Yes. It is your heart that's gaining a soul! Not mine. Kill her and watch Dawn cry. The more evil you are, the higher chance you have of returning home."
Kirai went into the next room.
Damu looked back at the girl. She was laughing and smiling with Dawn.
"Dawn is going to be heartbroken......" he thought, then frowned.
"But I'm gonna do this, I will not give in."
-------after school--------
"Presa? You wanna come over to my place?" I asked.
"Sure! I have nothing to do until tomarrow! I have a meeting to go to!" She smiled.
"You wanna come over too Prise?" I asked.
"Maybe later, I have to finish my late work before I get suspended!" He smiled.
"Alright then! Talk to you later Prise!" I left with Presa.
When we got to my house, I told Presa to wait for me in my room.
"I'm gonna go get dinner ready for when Duke gets home. You want some?" I asked.
"Sure!" Presa walked into my room.

Damu was sitting in a tree outside Dawn's bedroom window, looking at Prisa as she entered that room.
"Almost time...." He thought grasping the dagger in his hand.
