Many moons ago, I said I would rant about why I don't care for a significant other, here it is.

Why do people seek relationships so desperately? Is it the thought that once they have a partner they can have sex frequently? Lonliness? Someone to play ping-pong with? I really don't know, but whatever it is, it's posessed people. There are some that will do anything to be with someone, even if it's someone they hate, if only to avoid being alone.

I, however, couldn't care less about a girlfriend. I'm about as happy as I'll be right now, even if I knew the ideal woman, I'd leave her and continue with my life, unencumbered by thoughts of her. I have plans for the future, after they are complete, I"ll probobly have little better to do than hunt, fail several times, and either give up or die trying to find a partner.

Some people take advantage of those seeking love, themselves seeking sex, and say/do anything to trick people, like a spider and a fly. Sadly, sometimes the victim is well aware of the trickster's intentions, but goes along with it becasue they know that they won't be alone, and may be able to sue if/when they are harrassed.

I don't understand people these days.

BOTTOM LINE: If you spend your whole life desperately seeking romance and find the honeymoon phase blinded you, and you bcome a derranged mess, is it worth it?
