Their, in front of them, stood the pure essence of evil named Sethos. They had fought it many times before and tried to seal him away many times but this would be their last battle. Neither side moved but then Spirit took a steep forward.

"Well, I wonder how we'll seal it this time. Seems like everything we try doesn't work. Hell, if Scribe knew that her seal wouldn't work, she would be right here, fighting with us. Well, let's get this over with."

He jumped back, seeing that his powers would be utterly useless against Sethos but his allies, Demon, Agate, Kindle, and Mist had enough power to get most of the work done. All he would need to do would to do the finishing blow. But of course, he would have to take the time to charge up the attack.

Agate tacked a look of fierce determination on his face and placed his hand on the ground. Pillars of earth came up from the grassy field, all of them aimed to impale Sethos. While it dodged them with relative ease, Demon had summoned his wolf steed. With his spear in hand, his mount deftly darted between the pillars and soon Sethos stood in throwing range.

"THIS IS FOR SCRIBE!"

The spear soar straight and true but a black, hand-like tendril of darkness grabbed the spear and midair. A smooth flick of the wrist sent the spear flying in a newly formed pillar. However, a different hand caught it. The owner of the hand did not look happy, "I don't know what you did to Demon's past lover but I, being his current partner, cannot let you go unpunished."

During her small speech, a light vapor began to cover the battle field, "My sister may be known for her fiery wrath, but be ready to see mine."

The vapor began to concentrate in small balls near Sethos; Mist's eyes narrowed, "Die."

The vapor suddenly turned to knives of ice and rocketed towards the mass of darkness. In the quickness of the attack, a few of the shards hit it but he phased out before the rest could hit their marks.

"Guess time to start the grand finale," Kindle cracked her knuckles as she walked closer to the center of the battle, "Right sis?"

She grinned at Mist as white flames began to flare off of her body and her sister returned the grin with a wink, "Right."

An ax of flame appeared in Kindle's hands, "Hey, Sethos, you have a debt to pay. A big one. Now come over here so I can knock the dues out of you."

A man with falcon wings appeared on the pillar behind Sethos, "Kindle's right. You do have one hell of a debt to pay. Don't dare to try to flee from it either."

It turned to face the newcomer and Mist took this moment to toss Demon's spear back to him. He caught it with ease. Agate joined Kindle in the front line and Spirit took his place near Demon. A girl with an ankh shaped staff phased in next to Mist. Seven determined faces had their eyes on the darkness and these seven were going to make sure that Sethos would pay dearly for his crimes.
