its such a delicate little thing
sometimes you just cant help but take a step back and appreciate it
especially right now, my step dad was cleaning his patrol truck and heard meowing coming from some where in it, he spent an hour looking for the source which was a tiny 5 week old kitten lodged in the wiring harness (who is currently trying to nurse on my finger)
here she is laying in my arms, so lucky she wasnt starving yet, wasnt dehydrated yet
though still thin enough to use her ribs and spine as a xylophone
yet so beautifully bursting with such life
im so glad we did not cast her aside to the pound, who would immediately euthanise her for the deformity of her bottom lip that would not even compromise her quality of life.
so precious this small, fuzzy bundle of love that i have taken care of since 9:30 am yesterday. every little thing gets her purring so loudly. its nearly heartbreaking...
