A Vampire's Soul
Chapter 10
"I'm gonna kill him!!!!" Max sneered, fire burning in his eyes.
"Max, sit down! Riley's strong and we don't need to get caught!" Haine ordered.
"He has Aya!" Max snapped, a tear forming out of his eye.
"I know Max, but getting ourselves caught won't help her out any more!" I told him.
"I understand your worry, I am too, but if we get caught we can't save her."
Max, slowly nodded and sat down, tears streaming in frustration and anger.
"As soon as he leaves we'll follow him, for now, let's rest. It's been a long night.
-----midnight------
Riley was long gone, but we all dozed off..... I awoke from my sleep to a pain.
I looked around but as the pain intesed, blackness slowly covered my eyes and I became unaware of what I was doing, or where I was going.

Aya was slowly loosing consciousness from her weakness. She hasn't eaten in days.
She refused to until Wesley was back.
"She refuses to eat Chris." Dominic said.
"We have to find a way, we need her alive for now!" Chris said.
There was a long silence.
"She needs Wesley." Riley said walking in the door dragging an empty cage kit in.
"What?!" Chris asked.
Riley began putting up the cage.
"If you want her to eat, she'll need Wesley in here. Right now though, he's on death road. Time to heal him." Riley sneered.
"Wesley....." Aya thought.
Riley dragged Wesley in and put him on the strecher with and I. V. and oxygen tank.
"Round 2. After you heal brother I'll be able to start all over again." Riley laughed and left. Chris and Dominic followed.
Aya looked over at Wesley. She still felt bad everytime she looked at his scarred eye, knowing he'll never see out of it again.
"Wesley?" she whispered, no answer, he was passed out.
Aya sighed and dozed off from exahstion.
-------an hour later-------
The door opened. Aya's ears pricked at the sound.
She saw a figure walk in, and silently work its way over to Wesley's bed....holding a dagger......
"This is exactly like my dream!" she thought horrified.
He raised the dagger.
"Vex!" Aya screamed. The person shot a glance at Aya. But it was a different sight then Aya would've imagined. It definetly was Vex, but he had pitch black eyes, sharp teeth and long black claws.
"Vex? Help me down from here!" Aya pleaded, instead, Vex tossed the dagger at Aya's head. SHe yelped and moved her head sideways just in time.
"Vex? What are you doing?! What's wrong?! It's me! Aya!" she cried in alarm.
He walked over and picked up the dagger, then glareing at Aya raised it over her chest.
"Vex! What's going on! I thought you cared about me!" Aya cried out in fear.
To her surprise, Vex didn't stab her, he was looking at her in confusion.
"Aya?......." he whispered. Then dropped the dagger in his hands and went into shock.

"Alright, time to wake up." Haine said sitting up. Then within one second, she noticed something,
"Oh no...." she gasped.
"Wake up people! Vex is gone! He could be anywhere." Haine yelled.
Max was already awake and beginning to leave.
"What? Vex left? *gasp* what if the Tempter demon took over?!" Cara gasped, tears forming.
"If it did, then Aya is in danger." Haine whispered as Max screamed in anger and began running towards the castle.
"Max! Wait!" Cara called and ran after him, followed by Haine.

"Vex?" Aya whispered. I hadn't blinked in ten minutes, I stood there looking at Aya, unblinking, unmoving and in complete silence.
Finally, I blinked and looked down at my hands.
"What happened? What am I?...." I sighed, and looked back up at Aya.
"Aya?" I whispered.
"What was that all about Vex?! You almost killed me Vex!" she snapped.
It took a minute to calculate what she said.
"I almost killed you?! I....... no.......No!!" I gasped and fell to my knees.
"Vex?!"
"It's true..... I can't control it........ I'm a monster...... a f*cking Tempter Demon!"
I cried.
"Vex? What are you talking about?! What's a Tempter demon?!" Aya cried.
"Well, well, well, looks like we have one more prisoner to play with." a voice said.
Riley walked in holding a gun in his hand.
