Yes, we played again. Prepar for ze longness...and pardon any left out details.
Ok, so after they left the house, the five of them bought a Keel boat to travel with and extra supplies. Leanna had another dream, though it was short; she, her husband, and her son were ridding off to fight the mage. That was about it. They didn't run into much trouble during their journey until a Long Ship started coming toward them. Leanna steered them out of the way so the ship wouldn't crash into them...of course, though, they people on the ship shot arrows at them and came aboard the boat. Fight fight fight...Bulvie eventually burns down the ship and they continue. A few days later, they come across an island and decided to stop since they needed food. Darian stayed behind to watch the boat and the others went off...only to find a single small house. Curiousity got the better of them and they went inside.
It was bare inside except for one other door. With a shrug, they opened it. It lead to a bedroom with a small old woman sitting, facing away from them, in a rocking chair. Before they could leave the woman muttered something about murders in her house. Leanna tried to tell her they weren't and that they would leave but the old woman had other plans. One, she had no face. Two, she wouldn't die. They stabbed her and hacked her up yet she continued to move and fight. Instead, they turned around and left...only to find stairs ahead of them, not the hallway they had come from. Well damn. So they went up and Leanna pushed open the door some to peek in. She already had a terrible feeling about this house and wanted to leave...she also refused to go into the attic they ended up in.
Reese jumps infront of her and into the room. He doesn't get far when the crib on the other side starts to overflow with blood. (Am I playing Cthulhu suddenly? o-O) Bulvie jumps in as well and the door slams shut. gonk Leanna turns back with Duncon and they end up in the basement. o-O It seemed ok...untill Leanna stepped inside. Dozens of bladed chains fly out and grab at her, tearing through her armor and into her flesh (distroying the top half of her armor). Then they rip out, leaving her bleeding greatly. gonk Son-of-a-b***h that hurt. The same happens to Duncon as the chains come together to form a Chain Golum. Leanna tried fighting it after downing a potion but nothing really hurt it...so she poured a potion on Duncons wounds and dragged him out...ending up in the kitchen. ~-~ Suddenly, Bulvie runs in through another door breathing heavily. He said not to go out into the backyard and he pointed out why. A lower half of a man with no skin, just muscle tissue, was running around. Ewww... Leanna tells Bulvie to carry Duncon out since he's bigger...and the door closes behind him before Leanna can get out. >< To save herself some trouble, Leanna just stands there opening and closing the door to find the others. She found the Chain Golum and old woman again then finally heard Reese. Together they left...and ended up in the attic again...but Reese stood in the attic as well as behind Leanna. eek She jumped out and ran a series of questions by them to figure out which was real. Finally, she asked them what she found so funny about Viet. One answered that he was short and the other answered "the war pony"...she went over to the latter and the first shifted into a Doppleganger...who them had its head loped off by Leanna's sword. They then leave...and end up in the kitchen then the livingroom where they meet up with Bulvie and Duncon who finally wakes up. Bulvie just breaks a window and they all climb out, running back to the boat.
After that wasn't so bad. It did become foggy, though, and the Norse men they came across warned them about the place they were going to...a place of dragons. They gave Leanna some chainmail to help her and they went ahead. At this time, they faught three wyverns...then an adult black dragon shows up. gonk In short, the boat is distroyed, people are scattered, acid breath hurts, water hurts when wearing a ring of water walking, and the dragon's finally killed when its head is split open. Figuring that they just killed a dragon, a dragon's lair would be close and in that lair would be treasure. Leanna votes herself to go into the water to get it (with the aid of her ring of swimming, Darian's spell of Water Breathing, and three bags of holding). She goes in and comes back later having found a great sword, dagger, diamond, two books, 6000 gold, and 1100 platinum. Darian figures out where they are. It's a land full of convicts and theifs. ~-~ They all then suggest taking off every magical/valuable item and hidding them somewhere. Darian suggests the dragon's lair. So Leanna swims back and hides the bags then comes back. That night he has another dream...She sat in her home poking at the fire with a fire poker. She then gets up and goes to the kitchen for a moment. When she returns, her husband is standing in the doorway looking really pissed off, his knuckles white. He goes after Leanna, trying to hurt her but she blocks him for a few moments as she tries to defend herself. He then grabs the fire poker from the fire and slashes the right side of Leanna's face with it, from the jaw to the hairline over her eye... Leanna then wakes up nearly screaming, her breathing hard and heavy as Reese jumps from the noise and grabs his dagger. He sees her there and asked if she was ok. Leanna just sat there trying to collect herself, her voise shaking when she said she was fine. It took a few moments to convince Reese and Leanna stayed away 'til morning, afraid to return to her nightmares...
eek Well damn...so that's where her scar came from. Tom tells me it will only get better (well, worse) from here and that the last dream will piss me off. gonk He says that the ending of this game will be worse than death... My poor Leanna...
