A Vampire's Soul
Chapter 7
"He'll be alright, for now. Let's leave now. The sooner we get him to Victors the better." my mother said with a serious face.
I looked at Cara, she stopped crying and was now clinging tightly to me like a child.
"I was so worried about you Vex. Don't leave me again." Cara asked.
I smiled.
"I'll try not to." I kissed her forhead and followed my mother.

Aya was dreaming.
She was still tied up on the lab strecher with needles and all. It was dark, and unnaturally quiet. She looked around and saw Wesley on the bed across the room.
Then, the door opened and a figure entered the room holding a dagger.
Aya remained silent as the person walked towards Wesley's bed.
He raised the dagger up in front of Wesley's chest.
"Stop!" Aya screamed trying to get out, the figure turned around and Aya gasped.
It was Vex!
"Vex?!" she gasped.
Aya woke up, heart pounding and sweating.
She looked around, the sun was shining in the window. She quickly looked over at Wesley who was awake, staring up at the ceiling.
"Wesley?" Aay whispered. He looked over at her.
"Aya? What's wrong? You're sweating, are you hot or something?"
"No, I had that dream again.... the one where Vex comes to kill you...." She whispered.
Wesley looked at her more closely now.
"How many times have you dreampt that?"
"This was the 8th time this month..." she said.
Wesley closed his eyes and sighed.
"That's a bad sign..." he whispered.
Aya closed her eyes as she felt tears forming behind them. She didn't want to cry in front of Wesley anymore.
"Go ahead Aya. Go ahead and cry. It won't bother me." Wesley said.
Aya opened her eyes and began to cry.

"Is that it?" I asked.
"Yes. You two stay out here until I get permission from Victor." Haine walked inside.
Cara sat down on a rock and looked into the river that flowed in front of us.
I began to walk over, until I felt a pain in my head.
I collapsed to the ground holding my head tightly, screaming.
"Vex?! What's wrong?!" Cara ran over.
Slowly, the pain eased away.
"What happened?" Cara asked, tears in her eyes.
"I don't know....." I said sitting up.
"Vex?" my mother came out with a worried face.
"I heard you screaming, is everything alright?" she ran closer then stopped when I looked at her.
The worry in her eyes turned into fear and sadness.
"No...... not you... not my son....." she gasped.
"Mom? What's wrong?" I stood up.
My mother began to cry. She walked over and hugged me.
"I'm sorry my son. Why is this happening to you?" she cried.
"What's happening?!" I asked.
"Vex, you're becomeing a Tempter demon." she cried.
My heart stopped.
"How do you know? My eyes have always been red!" I snapped.
"No Vex, when someone goes demon, their eyes go red. But Haine said you're becomeing a Tempter demon, your eyes are black now." Cara sighed.
"No....." I ran to the river and looked at my reflextion.
My heart shattered. Two pitch black eyes were looking at me, and they were mine.
