A Vampire's Soul
Chapter 5
"Your daughter." she finished. We all gasped, even the hostage.
"Corona! How could you possibly think that!?" Jacob snapped looking sad.
"Our Jaine was killed a long time ago." Haine whispered sadly.
"She is your daughter! Believe me!" Corona yelled.
"I am not the daughter of any leech!" She snapped.
"She is right Corona, she is not my daughter." Haine sighed.
"No, she is! She has the same name, Jacob's black hair and your hazel eyes!"
Corona said.
"Thoses are just coincidences Corona." Jacob sighed.
"Plus, she is a vampire slayer, it's impossible for her to be my sister." I said.
"How old are you girl?" Corona asked her. She was silent.
"Answer me!" Corona snapped, her fangs showing as she squeezed her grip.
She cringed and yelped,
"23!"
I saw something in my mothers eyes, it was a sence of hope.
"Our Jaine was taken 23 years ago....." She whispered and stood up.
I watched my mother walk over to her and lean down looking deeply at her.
There was a long silence as I watched my mother stare into Jaine's eyes for a long time. It felt like 5 years has gone by until my mother spoke again.
"She is my daughter." She concluded.
Both my father and I was in shock.
"But she is a vampire slayer! A human one! She can't be!" I snapped.
"Vex, have you forgotten already? We were all humans once. You become a vampire at a certain age by your parents. If I abandoned you, you would most likely still be human right now." Haine said and looked back at Jaine.
"I am not your daughter!" She sneered.
"I'm sad to say, but yes, you are Jaine."
"How do you figure?!" she cried.
"Take her to the room upstairs. Lock her in."
My father said. Corona nodded and dragged Jaine out.
I looked closely at my mother.
She looked at me.
"She is your older sister Vex." She whispered to me.
"You told never told me anything about this!" I snapped.
"We thought she was dead!" my mother snapped back at me.
"When she was born a werewolf family invaded our castle. They kidnapped Jaine and ran away with her! I heard her cries all the way until morning, it was ringing in and out of my head! We sent a search party out for her, but there was no luck.
After a year with no luck, we pressumed her to be dead." my mother said sighing deeply after.
"I still can't come to believe our first born has been raised by vampire hunters."
My father sighed.
"Are you gonna change her?" I asked.
"Of course I am! She's my daughter! Your sister!" She snapped making me jump.
Jake walked over and put his hand on her shoulder.
"We should all get some rest. Maximillion is still in danger along with Aya and that wolf. We have to get to Victor as soon as possible." He whispered.
"Alright. Go to sleep Vex. I'll lead you to Victor's myself in the morning."

Aya was still tied up on the bed, glareing at Chris. her eyes filled with hatred.
"What are you doing to Wesley?!"
"We're mearly just giving him the punishment he asked for." Chris smiled.
"You're killing him!"
"Maybe." He laughed slightly.
"You're a monser!" Aya sneered.
He walked over and started plugging needles and wires into Aya.
"What are you doing?! Release me!"
"No, I told you I have to do research on you. Now hold still or yoy will be he one dying instead of Wesley in there." Chris sneered as he put another needle into Aya's arm.
Aya sighed. She was so tired and weak.
"Fine, do what you want." she sighed.
"Very good." Chris smiled.
"But can I just ask one thing?"
Chris looked at her.
"Don't let Wesley die."
"I can't stop it if he does."
"Heal him! Help him! I'll kill myself right now if you don't! You need a living body to get accurate readings am I right? And I'm the only vampire cat known in history!
I'll kill myself right now if you don't help Wesley!" Aya screamed.
Chris looked at her for a long time then walked out.
He came back in dragging Wesley's body.
He put him on a strecher and on an oxygen tank and I. V.
Chris glared at me after.
"Guess you need me huh?" Aya sneered.
"Sadly, I do need your information. Wesley will remain here to heal. Once he's healed he'll be put back into the cage."
"But he'll be beaten on again!"
Chris smiled.
"Then we'll heal him again after a fair amount of beatings."
"Poor Wesley!" Aya thought. "Max... Please be alive!"

"Alright, let's go already!" I snapped.
"Alright. I'm done." My mother ran up, she still had some blood ripping down her lip.
"She struggled, but I changed her."
"So Jaine's my sister again?"
"By blood, yes. By mind, no. Not yet at least."
"Good luck Haine." my father smiled and kissed her.
"I'll be here when you return."
"I'll miss you Jake. Take care while I'm gone."
Then my mother turned to me and we began our trip to Victor.
"You better still be alright Max. We're comeing." I thought.
