A Vampire's Soul
Chapter 4
"I am Jaine, the vampire slayer. It's time for you to die leech!"
She sneered. I got a good look at her. She had long black hair that glistened blue in the moonlight and hazel eyes. I tried pushing her off, but somehow, she held on dagger still in hand. "Enough!" she yelled and raised the dagger up, ready to end me. I closed my eyes. I knew I couldn't get away, somehow, she's strong enough to hold me down.
"I'm sorry Cara.... Aya....Max....mom..." I thought and awaited the blow.
But it never came, instead I opened my eyes to see a women pinning Jaine to the ground. She had long blond (almost white) hair with black streaks.
She looked over at me, her blue eyes looked worried yet amused.
"Looks like I found you just in time Vex." she smiled.
"Get off of me you leech!" Jaine screamed.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"My name is Corona, I'm a good friend of your mother's." she smiled showing her two sharp fangs.
"Oh." I said. Corona sat up holding Jaine by the neck.
"Gonna kill her here or somewhere else?" I asked.
Corona looked at the slayer.
"What's your name girl?"
She said nothing.
"Jaine, she told me." I said for her, she shot an evil glare at me.
"Jaine?" Corona looked at her more closely.
"What are you doing you leech? You have me, kill me already! I know you're gonna!" Jaine snapped.
"No. I won't kill you." Corona said which surprised me.
"What?!? She's a slayer!!" I snapped.
Corona blocked Jaine's pressure points knocking her unconscious.
"I'm taking her to the castle so Jacob and Haine can deal with her." Corona said.
I was still somewhat confused, but knowing we were going to see my parents was a good thing.
"Corona, I have something to tell you." I said. She looked at me.
"It's about Max and Aya."
"Tell me while we walk. Is it important?"
"Yes. They're in danger." I sighed.

"Let go of me you a**holes!!!" Aya screamed and kicked as she awoke from her unconscious state.
"Tie her down!" a scientist snapped.
They place Aya on a bed and strapped her to it with belts and chains.
"I can get out of these easy!" Aya sneered and began pulling. But when it snapped, it instantly put itself back together!
"What?!" she gasped.
"The chains and belts are cursed Aya. Only I can take them off." the scientist laughed.
"You're....... a warlock aren't you?" she gasped.
"Yes, I am. Undercover though. My brother, Victor, didn't think I would be able to conquer my life as one so I pretended to stop using magic, I still do though."
He laughed as he walked closer. He had He had silver hair and clear blue eyes.
Looked young, but evil was clearly in his eyes.
"What do you want from me?" Aya sighed.
"You are the first known vampire cat in history. I'd like to do some tests on you."
the scientist laughed.
"Chris!" Someone ran in. It was Dominic. He was covered in blood.
"Wesley's blood." Aya thought horrified.
"Yes Dominic?"
"Wesley's unconscious. Should I leave him there or take him somewhere else?"
Aya gasped.
"Leave him." Chris sneered with a smile.

"So Wesley and Aya are being held prisoner at the werewolf headquarters?"
Haine gasped.
"Yes mom."
"Why isn't Maximillion protecting her?" Jake asked.
"Max is dying again dad." my mother gasped, fear in her eyes.
"What?! No! He can't! Where is he?!" Haine yelled.
"Haine, calm down." Jake soothed her.
"Max is dying from an infection spredding throughout his body. I don't know how, but he told me to take him to see Victor of the Warlocks. I came here to ask for the way there." I said.
"Of course! I'll do anything for Max." Haine sighed.
"Haine!" Corona ran in holding Jaine.
"Corona, who is that?"
"Her name is Jaine." Corona walked over and placed her before Haine.
"Your daughter." she finished.
